How in the heck did they do this shadow?

The part on the ground seems like it's drawn with sectors but the part on the fence has to be a transparent decal of some sort I guess?

It's honestly really impressive how many tricks this game uses for fake light and shadow.

Played the first two levels with this mod last night and it makes the experience a lot more fun.

Definitely worth a look if, like me, you love the aesthetics of Redneck Rampage but feel like it needs some fixes and balance adjustments to actually be fun.

Been playing the Coffee Break mod for Wolfenstein 3D. Although Wolf3D hasn't aged as well as Doom, it's always had a really unique core to its gameplay, being essentially a stealthy tactical arcade shooter that's arguably as akin to Hotline Miami as it is to other boomshoots.

So it turns out this game rules. Idk why I hadn't heard of it before.

I guess people consider it kind of derivative but I don't know of anything else that fills the weird niche of "Oblivion if it were also Fable and God of War"

Testing some new textures in Bugbite. Levels are all grid-based and very quick to build/texture, but the tradeoff is that it's almost impossible to completely eliminate the square tiled look, so I think I'm actually going to lean into it as a part of the artstyle.
