Structural flaws, leaks, woodworms, faulty materials...” Kaveh pulled his knees up, as though to shield himself from the frown carving itself between Alhaitham’s eyebrows. “The earthquake is the cause behind their collapse, technically, but it wouldn’t have been able to destroy them without all the shit they’ve been dealing with.” Alhaitham wondered where he fell in that simile. Was he the earthquake, the last straw, or had he put too much weight on a girder by unearthing the root of Kaveh’s self-sacrificial nature, setting him up for a fatal breakdown? “I won’t hold it against you, if I did—…” “But you didn’t.” Impatience seeped into Kaveh’s voice. For the first time, however, he met Alhaitham’s gaze, eyes bright and defiant. “Would I lie?” “I don’t know,” Alhaitham admitted, slowly. “Would you?” Kaveh scoffed. “Don’t you love saying that it’s not your responsibility what people interpret, beyond your exact words? Now you’ve decided to grow some social awareness?”

Que podéis beber lo que os dé la gana, como si os hacéis un cocktail con aceite de ricino y cicuta, pero no me toquéis la seta diciendo que el alcohol no es una droga. Lo es y de las peores, y cuando decís lo contrario (contrario además a la evidencia científica) refuerza que tenéis un problema.
