Our P1 learners had a wonderful morning exploring their creativity during play!

Some children worked together to build amazing models with Duplo and magnetic tiles, showing great imagination and teamwork. Others enjoyed playing teachers, taking turns and sharing ideas!💡👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 @mrsguidori.bsky.social

Today some P1s picked apples from our school orchard. They spent the morning making delicious apple crumble and then made some custard before tasting their delicious pudding 🤤 Each week a different group will have the chance to take part in a cooking experience 👨‍🍳 @missmckechnie.bsky.social

Thank you very much to the @mrsadonnelly.bsky.social and P7 for helping P1 to sign in to Sumdog for the first time! They helped P1 to complete their diagnostic assessments and to create their avatars. P1 will now be able to use Sumdog to practise their maths skills. @missmckechnie.bsky.social

P1 enjoyed outdoor learning this afternoon. Some children chose to use the scrubbing brushes and soapy water to wash the windows "Look, we're mini janitors again!" Some chose to play in the water tray, using the water to refill the spray bottles, while others were climbing the trees. #DunipacePlay

Primary 1 are working hard on their phonics. In these pictures they are focused on the sound t through a colour-the-sound task, building recognition in a fun and active way.

Pr 7 enjoy spending time with their Pr 1 buddies, sharing stories, playing games and learning together. This special time lets children be heard, express themselves, and build friendships—reflecting the #DunipaceUNCRC’s focus on play, learning, and respect for every child. #Articles12,13,15,29,31.
