P2 listened to the story The Owl Who Was Afraid of The Dark.🦉🌲🌌🌙 Using our recount writing skills, we started to re-tell key parts of the story in our own words. These P2s asked to share their independent writing so far 👏🏻📄✍🏻

P2 have been finding numbers on a 100 square & looking at how many tens & ones make up each number. We played Place Value Basketball on @topmarks.bsky.social & practised our skills in counting in tens and ones 🏀🔢 Great place value skills P2 ⭐👏 #DunipaceMaths

We have been practising saying, spelling & writing words with 'ai' this week. Our phones help us to focus on the sounds we hear in words. We quietly say sounds & words into our phoneme phones & it's like magic 🤫📞🗣️👂🏻 Ask us to share what we hear & how it works 🗣️💬 #DunipaceLiteracy
