P2 listened to the story The Owl Who Was Afraid of The Dark.🦉🌲🌌🌙 Using our recount writing skills, we started to re-tell key parts of the story in our own words. These P2s asked to share their independent writing so far 👏🏻📄✍🏻

P2 watched a clip about Remembrance Day & the paper poppy we wear. We spoke about why we donate & wear Poppies. Ask us what we learned. We then made our own class Poppy wreath to say thank you to all the service people🎖Poppies are available in school tomorrow for a donation @poppyscotland

P2 have been finding numbers on a 100 square & looking at how many tens & ones make up each number. We played Place Value Basketball on @topmarks.bsky.social & practised our skills in counting in tens and ones 🏀🔢 Great place value skills P2 ⭐👏 #DunipaceMaths
