“My disability doesn’t define me!”

Well good for you.

My disabilities do define me in so many ways.
They define and dictate my entire life.
They define what I’m able to do.
They define my goals for the future.
And lots more.

None of this is “negativity”… it’s just the truth.

‘thats not autism, thats just a normal human trait.’

Me: cheers for pointing out autistic people are also human.

I do things that "normal" humans do aswell, however far more intensely or less to the point where it impacts my day to day life which may lead to burnout or meltdowns. What about you?!

Being autistic can be so frustrating at times, and here's just one reason why.

Sometimes you can't just "do that"

Even if you were to "do that" before or yesterday, it makes no difference.

Being told well you did that before or yesterday don't help ethier.

Sometimes you simply can't do that.

Inhale and exhale… today’s routine 📷🕊️ …
The predawn morning sky has soft pink hues filling backdrop of the distant mountains as a light breeze rustles the nearby grasses.

The one I'm reading ATM in the picture is pretty damn disturbing in places (& I'm not a lightweight) tbh

Ideally, as with many of my book purchases, I don't like to spend Too much on them (many of my Martina's are under a fiver lol as I buy a used copy) particularly what with being unemployed and a flat owner so I'm probably not going to get the £18 one. I'm just looking for ideas tbh... Any recs?

I want to purchase a decent/good folklore book, but I'm always unsure which one to get. I have The Little Book of Folklore by Kitty Green, but as the title suggests it is sort of limited in variation and amount (128 pages)

Dangerous Lady & its sequel Maura's Game were OK too though

Autistic people need downtime in order to process, reintegrate, stim, watch favorite videos—however they best decompress.

LET AUTISTIC PEOPLE HAVE THEIR SPACE!
