Conceptual interpretation of the core event in my #WIP. The story gets deeper, the stakes are getting higher, the consequences are not to be outdone. I’m really having fun with this one. #AmWriting
Our little memorial in our corner of the world.

Respected, remembered, honored.

Thank you, Veterans, for a sacrifice that none of us who aren’t veterans will ever know.

Starting this title today—from 1949. There is a scene in The Last Of Us where Joel goes to see Gail, and he interrupts her while she’s reading this. The show podcast talks about this work bring an inspiration, and that’s why the reference is included. Giving it a try! Have you read it? #amreading

#NaNoWriMo is on!. If this is your first go round, you’re in for an experience. Completing a novel at all is one thing; getting it done in a month is quite something else. Congratulations on your resilience and determination to see your goal accomplished and your dream come true. #writingcommunity

This guy right here. Fifty years on, and he still creeps me out to no end. Jason, Mike, Fred—they all got nothing on this guy. If you don’t know who he is, check out the film “Burnt Offerings”, and you’ll know what I’m speaking about. Terrifying, menacing. #halloween

@j-schiecke.bsky.social and Molly Macabre— the Maiden Merchants of Menace. The Indie Horror Dynamic Duo. What would Halloween be without your merciles attack on the scare defenses?

Thank you both for making my October reading time that much more fun.

Shortly before my brother Mike passed away late in the summer, we talked about our common love of 80s horror movies when we were growing up. And so now, after his passing, this novella by Janelle Schiecke has come to me to help celebrate those fun times we had…

Last night was one for the books.

If you have a chance to hear those that inspire you to great heights, go see them. Let them know how much their art, their hard work, their determination mean to you. Shake their hands. Listen. Learn. Be authentic in all you do. #remain #amwri̇ti̇ng #writingcommunity

Came upon this fellow on Sunday AM on my way out of the plaza after a grocery run. He was at the back, and he was offering his gift of music to nature. No one was with him, or beside him, or on front of him. For a few seconds, I was part of something really beautiful and honest.

Question for the #WritingCommunity — specifically for indie authors, but I could use some direction from everyone: Have you ever partnered with a charity to receive a portion of the sales for every book you’ve sold, and if so, how exactly did you arrange that? Who did you reach out to? Thanks! 😊

Each writer has a usual places to write, but this one was my favorite. Visited here in 1997–Crazy Mountains in Montana. This was my exact view from a big, spacious flat rock viewing area that was furnished with plenty of places to wonder and create. A great spot to put pen in hand and ink to paper.

Cycle Of The Werewolf was the first novel i consciously made a choice to read. I had no idea, then, what I would discover inside: my inspiration. My life’s calling.

Happy birthday @stephenking.bsky.social Thank you for inspiring me to discover what being inspired could bring me.

Just finished reading The Long Walk in advance of seeing the film. The layers of characterization are crumbled one by one on each of the character-walkers that are featured as we understand their motivation. I’m excited to see how the film follows or changes this study in deterioration into madness.

One team looking to clinch post-season privileges. The other—looking to make a statement that one day in February wasn’t a fluke.
