In military time (24-hour format), there are 16 total palindromic times in a full 24-hour day. Now write the best algorithm in TypeScript to create a list of all the possible palindromes in military time. Go! Seems like a fun exercise, and I’m sure there exists some very clever mathy way to do it.

I feel like I can never have enough zsh aliases, but then there is a hard limit for the number of possible 3 character long combinations. It’s 250,047 (that’s a-zA-Z0-9_) I’ll think I’ll be okay.

Just gave GitHub Copilot a nontrivial amount of code to review in my code base. Working…Working…editing my code all over the place like it knows better, learning from its edits, and it just dropped a cold, hard review in my editor’s chat. Fun times

For all you haters I finally found an LLM that chokes on replace double quotes with single quotes in a file. Smh. It’s this kind of stuff that genuinely gives the AI haters and doubters some proof, that yes, even AI fails on the dumbest tasks sometimes.

Having that great feeling from successfully provisioning and deploying a NextJS app to AWS EC2 (Ubuntu 24) and CDN backed by S3, and everything just works. **Takes a sip of favorite beverage, sighing in accomplishment.** Cheers to devops and automating all the things 🎉🥳🤩 Now off to spin up MongoDB!

Having trouble concentrating on a great YouTube video to learn a new technology because the presenter uses double quotes, arrow function with single argument but no parentheses, and asi (automatic semicolon insertion) in TypeScript. Congrats on doing it the hard and inconsistent way dude. #peeves

I know people who have done both and succeeded equally. I don’t even like to say I’m self taught, because I’ve had a few mentors over the years, read books (so authors were my teachers), watched videos, took online courses, and imitated what I could find on the web and GitHub.

Hacking a @hackerrank.bsky.social problem well after my bedtime. This is worse than video games. I won’t spend a single hacko towards a solution. Feels wrong and obstinate, but I have my pride tucked away somewhere around here.
