Had a really nice new coach moment today. Saw two of our freshman who are brand new to hockey leaving a stick and puck as I was getting on to coach a clinic and I saw the sly little teen happy boost when I told them it was great to see them. Felt very good. I really like this group of kids!

Meanwhile, my dad is in his late 60s, actively has high cholesterol and BP, his brother has had a massive heart attack, and when he asked Kaiser for this they said lol nah. He had a massive heart attack less than two months later. Thanks Kaiser!
I am 42, feel great, and have normal cholesterol and blood pressure measures.
I do have a family history of heart disease and after a discussion with my PCP, I received a coronary calcium CT study today.
It helps looks for evidence of coronary artery disease and is underutilized in the US
