Not Dumb Podcast Man
Portnoy is the biggest bitch in sports media. Just a fucking awful dude who will always play the victim when his bullshit behavior gets called out. Fuck him

Watched what they did to San Fran, smart man. Apparently patriots fans didn’t
The waiter I had all week for breakfast in San Fran has $1500 on the 'Hawks. I think he went all the way up to SEA -13.5 alt lines lol

Could’ve been 40-0 without them. Of course, Sam makes one or two extra throws, it probably still could’ve been
Craig Woodson and Christian Gonzalez were so good man

Brendan Donovan is pretty good. He’s also a Seattle Mariner. So that’s pretty, pretty, good

Is he hacked or is he starting a knock off OF page?

Pereda appears to be about an averagish catcher defensively. Some good hard hit rates, doesn’t chase, but also doesn’t make a ton of contact. A little pop. But what makes him most appealing is he has an option year left. Very likely to be stashed in AAA, but will compete with Knizner this spring.

My biggest concern is how they perform in the pass game. Charbonnet was good in pass pro. They’ll miss some of his size at the goal line, but picking up the extra rusher is an asset I’m not sure Holani/Akers/Jones has
I’ll play. What are your thoughts on the guy the Hawks will be putting in for Charbs tomorrow?
January 25, 2026 at 6:21 AM
If K9 will take a reasonable deal, I’m fine with that. He’s not an elite RB so I’m not giving him top of the market money. If Allgeier comes in at less, I’d rather grab him. But if the market takes off, I’m fine grabbing a Najee or Dobbins and drafting a guy on day 2 or 3
What would you like to see the Hawks do at RB next year?
January 25, 2026 at 5:17 AM
Leonard Williams, JSN, Spoon, Darnold, and Ernest I think. Tons of great options this year
Five favorite current Seahawks?

I’ll take Emerson assuming he gets to the bigs quick enough
Higher 2026 WAR: Cole Young or Colt Emerson?
January 25, 2026 at 5:11 AM
I’ll take Emerson but I’d be pleasantly surprised if any of them got to 2.5 wins this year
Your prediction for the highest b/fWAR next season from among Williamson, Young, and Emerson?
January 25, 2026 at 5:10 AM
So basically what team could win the AL that would surprise me, but is actually possible? I like the Royals this year. I’d like them more if they added another bat. But I’ll say KC
What AL team has a realistic shot at taking on Toronto but would surprise you the most if they did?

I need to be more active on here and I’m still trying to navigate the site so this is a shot in the dark, but if anybody has some #AMA questions, fire away. #Mariners #Seahawks always on the table, but so is literally anything else so fire away and let’s start trying to build a platform here.

Just a hunch, but I wouldn’t be too shocked if the Mariners have checked in, had talks about, or inquired about the availability of (whatever platitude you want) Otto Lopez.

Is Leonard Williams the most underrated player in the league? Good lord

Terribly underthrown ball being bailed out by a PI call is the most NFL play there is

Immediate thoughts on Kyle Tucker getting $60 million AAV: Julio Rodriguez and Cal Raleigh are fucking bargains.
January 16, 2026 at 4:22 AM
I’m not taking a shot at him, but McDaniel saying weather isn’t a factor while he’s dressed like he’s going bushcrafting in Alaska is objectively hilarious. Or at least ironic.
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel on whether the cold temperatures impacted his team vs the Steelers tonight:

“I don’t think the weather was a factor. I think their team outperformed us in critical situations.”

There are a large number of reasons why it won’t happen, but a Luis Castillo for Kodai Senga swap would be fun. Mets get more safety and floor, Mariners take a shot on a guy who hasn’t been quite as good since his injury, but save some money and gain serious upside.

Harrison Cohen is kind of interesting
The Yankees have officially added RHP Elmer Rodríguez, OF Spencer Jones and RHP Chase Hampton to the 40-man roster. All three are Top 10 prospects in the NYY system. www.mlb.com/milb/prospec...

Foley would be a solid lottery ticket. Season ending shoulder surgery back in May certainly makes him a major risk though
Tigers add Gleyber Torres + 5 prospects to 40-man roster:
IF/OF Trei Cruz
IF Hao-Yu Lee
C/1B Thayron Liranzo
LHP Jake Miller
C/1B Eduardo Valencia

To make room, 6 pitchers DFAed:
Dugan Darnell
Jason Foley
Sean Guenther
Jack Little
Tyler Mattison
Tanner Rainey

Foley and Rainey were arb eligible.

Things we KNEW a year ago:
Dipoto and Co couldn't build a complete lineup
The Mariners would never go after rentals
The Mariners never spend money on FA bats
Ownership won't commit

Checking off a lot of these boxes. Now we wait and see if Stanton checks off that last box...
