Update:
Katie just called me. She is being held by Homeland Security at the Whipple Federal Building down by the airport.
They have not told her anything. No word on release, no word on charges. Nothing. Ridiculous. But she is fine and in good spirits.
Her attorney is en route there right now.

A pedestrian was killed in a hit and run in my neighborhood today by someone in a black SUV flying down St. Anthony Avenue near the Aldine pedestrian bridge.
Neighbors have been pleading with the city for *years* to do something about people speeding and blowing stop signs on St Anthony.

My take as a MNUFC fan:
I’ll attend every game regardless of weather, but the kids probably won’t. So instead of 4 tix for the whole family it’s 1 (or 2 if we get a sitter) for those winter games. Game 3 vs SEA was about as cold as the kids are gonna put up with & it gets *much* colder than that.

You’ve probably heard that the MLS Board of Governors is meeting this week to discuss, among other things, a move to the “European” schedule. My understanding is that there’s no way that happens in 2026, but there’s a very real possibility that it could happen in 2027.
