Hear me out. You deserve a government that invests in 👉🏿 you. My name is Conrad Blackburn. I am running for Assembly in Harlem to bring the power back to the people. I’ll be outside on the corner of 125th and Lenox—every Saturday. We outside.

This 22min 1968 movie is elite friday afternoon viewing.
#GIS #Geography Asked everyone who has come into lab (or interviewed for work/grad school) "who invented GIS, when, where & why?" No one. Not one person knew of late friend & mentor Dr. Roger Tomlinson OC FRCGS. This. This should be mandatory viewing for incoming classes!

I regret clicking on this because I just found out that an annual Citibike subscription (which I pay without paying attn) is 10x what my Vélib‘ annual subscription cost in 2010.

(A regular Vélib’ subscription now costs about $60, or 1/4 of what it costs us in NYC)

All of the empty citibike slots tonight were snowed in, but one was almost usable. I just needed a sort of shovel.

Luckily, a snow plow had slammed into a citibike, smashing the real wheel and its cover, a shard of which made for a perfect shovel to dig out enough of the slot for my bike to fit.

Saying ICE agents have been “in theater a long time” strongly suggests Tom Homan is considering test cases against the Third Amendment.

@socialists.nyc officially endorsed @darializaforny.bsky.social for NY-13 today, marking a moment in months of work I and others have been involved in.

Today is a brilliant day to donate to Darializa’s campaign, to show Bsky has the juice.

Things are looking bad for ICE. There may be only one man in the government with the political skills necessary to save it.
