I've done some character study sketches while traveling and I have to admit I'm really excited to make more art when I get home and have the comfort/access to do more digital, watercolour, inking, etc; I'm gonna make so much stuff and I'm excited because I feel like my progress is finally showing

Italy update: we made it to Genoa, flying home in a few days. I'm trying really hard not to dwell on the fact that I'll be apart from my favourite person in the world again soon, and probably for a long time 😔 but I'll do my best to enjoy the tine we still have

through the power of being-with-my-girlfriend I have unlocked the ability to wear dresses and skirts without having an anxiety attack and I have to say this is an exciting new chapter

also Italy update: I'm loving it here so much, especially Tuscany. I've been hoovering up art supplies so that I have stuff to do when I go home and am apart from my gf again. Today I dressed really nice and we took some of the best pictures I have of me since I came out, it's been great 🥲

I know I haven't posted art in aaaages I've been doing much more traditional sketches and watercolours and stuff but I did this irl sketch today visiting San Gimignano in Italy and I feel like I need to do these more (also I got a new pen which I'm loving)

i really wish Insomniac weren't just a de facto arm of marvel now, they're one of those rare gems in triple A game dev that actually feel kinda human and these days they only make stuff that i do not care about :(

When your feed dries up for the day, that's your cue to go do something else until new stuff shows up later.

i think the best example of cultural forgetfulness i've seen in years is the way everyone hated konami for terminating kojima's employment before his game was finished, not letting him attend award shows etc and then shiny new MGS3 remake comes out and every streamer under the sun is playing it

I carried this mindset for a long time but it's hard to throw stuff into the void and hear the silence that follows. Now i just show things to my gf and dm friends sometimes and that way they can't flop 🤷
(i should post more but i've been painting/sketching a lot and my phone camera sucks)

I dont "NETWORK", I do not "keep a consistent schedule", I don't try to make my art "stand out" on people's feeds. I POST MY ART. And if it flops, I DON'T CARE.

ok picture this, I changed my name and was updating it with certain government agencies and requesting to change my gender marker, and even after setting those to "miss" and "female" the guy I'm dealing with still misgenders me for the whole interaction, some people are truly beyond help LMAO
