I can't believe I actually have to tell someone that a new issue requires a description, not just a link somewhere else. If you're going to file an issue with an open source project, at least put in a half-assed attempt at a proper report. Don't expect the maintainer to work harder than you.

What an incredible moment! He's definitely a chip off the still young block. I have no double he'll be creating Devoxx-quality experiences wherever he goes, just like his incredible parents.

I really can't stand that browsers remember 404 pages in the autocomplete history. Why would I want to go back to a page that didn't lead anywhere? Come on.

I could not live without linked worktrees in git. If you don't make use of them, you really should.

Can I ask which software you are using to make those visual diffs?

Do you have any insight on why IONNA stations still haven't been added?

I know the docs are good when I, the creator of the software, use them.

The medical system in the US is so broken that I truly do fear for my life.

Ah, yes, interesting. That fits for me in at least one case.

Got it. Exactly what I was looking for. And I agree. Putting it in Maven Central was making me feel uneasy.

Where do people typically publish GraalVM native images for a project? Do they go into Maven Central, or do they get attached to a release on GitHub or GitLab?

I think the special designs are becoming a cool part of the Rivian brand and culture. As long as it doesn't interfere with delivering on promises, I'm all for it.

We truly are still in the stone ages when it comes to primary care, especially orthopedics. I feel like doctors are just guessing. As a result, crucial diagnoses are missed. And there are so many conflicting opinions on how to fix problems. We live in pain because we still don't understand the body.

It used to be that programs would just work on Ruby with each new release. Now it's a full time job to keep them working...if you even can.

It's truly sad to see Ruby deteriorating. For example, I can't install Ruby 3.0 on Fedora anymore for testing because of some obscure OpenSSL problem. It's just maddening.

You quite literally have to manage your own health program in the United States, heavily supplemented by YouTube (which can do as much harm as good at times). I repeatedly told doctors I was having severe symptoms, and yet I had to essentially diagnose myself. It's infuriating.

After struggling with intense back+hip pain for months, I learned this week that I have a herniated disc. That's not the most maddening part. The way I found out is that I decided to order my own MRI, which revealed it. Had it been checked sooner, I might have been able to prevent it from happening.

Maybe this decision got reversed. Honestly, the communication about it either way is horrible. No application or gem should have to add a dependency to get basic logging.

The same goes for bigdecimal and the other libraries they've removed that cripple the language.

Ruby deciding to remove the logger from stdlib really makes me hate Ruby. I don't know how else to put it. I just detest that decision. I'm vehemently opposed to it, but no one seems to give a shit.
