I’ve been collecting Pokémon cards for over a decade now. When I first started I could buy whatever I wanted without scalpers or entitled idiots to contend with. My wonderful LCS just got broken into, along with others in the area, and have specifically had cards stolen. It’s just not fun anymore.

An old acrylic Red Dead Redemption 2 painting from a few years ago. It’s still one of my faves! The high-honour appears under UV light 🦌 I gifted it to Roger Clark and I will always treasure that moment.

Weekly respiratory infection report from Wales. Influenza increasing; RSV stable but likely to decrease as we come out of peak season, SARS-CoV2 decrease. Everything else stable (enterovirus decrease). Looks like influenza A (H1N1 in Wales) takes winter 2024.

It’s been almost a year since I bothered using social media properly but this place seems nice so will stick around! 💕 This year has been so weird. Saw the aurora from my garden, my face broke (forever?), my fave video game had a remake and it was excellent, saw a sparrowhawk in work…just…weird.

I’ve had a wonderful week so far! The big important inspection in work passed (my little ELISA plate diagram went down well!), I sorta organised our Xmas-do, tried Popeye’s for the first time, got to see a real-life fungus ball, and visited the Poke Post! 2 days off next week for festive art! 💕

The Silent Hill 2 remake is coming out next year. The original is one of my all time favourite games, so am pretty excited! I did this fanart a while back.

I did this painting of Ranni from Elden Ring last year. The glow in the dark powdered pigment was tricky, but so much fun to use! She’s a fellow Welsh lady, so is my favourite.
