They also brought a surprise bird for me, specifically - a cockatoo named Handsome, and yes he is fully aware that he lives up to that name.

Handsome hung out on my arm for a while and we took a lot of selfies, but this is the best picture I took of him 🤍

It looks like I am squishing this bird, but I promise I was applying zero pressure and they had plenty of room. Also I do usually wear gloves, but had JUST taken them off for a second when I saw this little guy, so close to the curb, humans, the traffic - there was just no time to put them back on
