Should note:
If the Senate makes any changes to the House MAGA CR
Like ACA credit text
It will require Johnson to call the House back into session and pass the changed bill
Beneath all of his presser noise and C-SPAN fails
Johnson has been CLEAR
He's dead set against doing so

The Senate adjourned for the weekend
They're back on Tuesday at 5:30pm (which will be day 14)
Word is they're "desperately" searching for an off-ramp
Promising Dems an 'immediate' ACA vote once a CR passes
Dems aren't biting
Lots of noise
No movement

Very fair question
Grand jury proceedings are secret
The system appears to be being corrupted in the extreme for these revenge prosecutions
I've been wondering since the Comey indictment if the grand jury was presented with the truth
And the Tish James evidence is even thinner

The whole damned system is so broken
And evidently more easily corrupted than I realized
But re the grand juries, the bar must definitely be crazy low
Because there's plenty of reporting on prosecutors in EDVA saying there wasn't enough evidence in the James case, either

The point isn't conviction or prison
The point is the expense, bad publicity and inconvenience
Preventing them (ironic, but his mind is mashed potatoes) from ever holding elected ofc again
He's going to move them fast now that Comey's args for dismissal are so good
Hearing Schiff is likely next

The point isn't conviction
It's expense and inconvenience
First Comey
Now Tish James
And I'm hearing likely Adam Schiff is next (and SOON)
