Let's drop the pretense. It was a 2-1 decision by GOP judges comfortable with Trump's fascist coup: the hard-right Thomas Hardiman appointed by W and Stephanos Bibas, who clerked for Kennedy, appointed by Trump.
JUST IN: Big win for the Trump administration in the 3rd Circuit, ruling that a federal judge in NJ never had jurisdiction to consider Mahmoud Khalil's challenge to his detention.

Unclear what immediate effect it will have given tangle of other issues/rulings.

I love corporate DC reporter euphemisms - this is how @punchbowlnews.bsky.social describes Trump's war-mongering and assault on the Fed: "Meanwhile, Trump is largely uninvolved and distracted, consumed with foreign policy crises while pitching a string of populist economic ideas"

Another fun fact about last night - the votes after 5 pm on the minibus and its amendments had more Democrats than Republicans voting

With the Trump regime, it's the crime AND the coverup.
Minnesota protesters, agents repeatedly square off while prosecutors quit after Renee Good's death
The resignations follow growing tensions over a decision by the Trump administration to block the state out of the investigation into the shooting of Renee Good.

To be clear, babies are much much better than Hawley.

So are worms, skunks, snakes, scorpions, rats, heaping piles of manure, wet paper bags, and cesspools.

Hawley is a little baby
The Senate sustained the Risch point of order with respect to SJ Res 98, war powers re: Venezuela, with Vice President Vance breaking the tie, 51-50. GOP voting against: Collins, Murkowski and Paul.

The LLMs just told the companies to militarize against humans
The White House policy on AI:
-Suppress federal bills on AI
-Suppress states from regulating AI
-Sell advanced AI chips to China

This has led the tech industry down the wrong path with increasing backlash. They should ask their large language models for a better approach.

time for little J6 Hawley to show the world Trump's his daddy
The Senate is voting at 5:30 on a point of order that would quash the Venezuela war powers resolution that advanced last week. Which Republicans will flip?

I have such contempt for cowards
EISEN: Didn't you admit what Trump is doing to Powell is coercion?

CRAMER: It's no secret he would like Powell out. So would I. This would be an elegant way out

E: You think it'd be 'elegant' for Fed chair under threat of indictment to step down? That doesn't sound elegant

C: Ok. So you disagree
