Still finding this hard but what helps me a lot is simply keeping the negative thoughts unsaid. It's like gratitude journaling. Over time you strengthen positive mindset and weaken the toxic thoughts.
Artists… learn how to say thank you to a compliment, or, I would love feedback if you have any! Rather than, oh I’m awful, my art sucks.
It’s… actually not modest, it puts everyone in a weird spot when you degrade yourself, and I REALLY GET THaTS HARD!
