I feel like most fitness advice is given with neurotypical people in mind. The "get off your ass and go to the gym" approach doesnt work when i dont fucking want to get out of bed.

Really, on those days, the best one can do is take care and try not to compound guilt. try to be kind to oneself

i remember as a kid reading this in our collection of calvin and hobbes compendiums thinking like "man, the dad really doesnt get it" and then reading it maybe 10 years ago and my thought being "wow bill watterson was so good at this." now im back to "man, the dad really doesn't get it"
