I'm a bit maudlin from sleep deprivation but I'm genuinely happy to see so many people going outside to see & photograph the aurora. The world is run by the shittiest people, we're all tired & broke, but we still want to marvel at the beauty in the sky.

I’m rereading Liz Cheney’s book Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning. It occurs to me that Moses Mike Johnson is clearly guilty of treason. It also provides valuable insight on why he committed it. So he could personally benefit.

Watching "Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial" on Netflix. I'm no history slouch, but wow there is so much I didn't realize. Not just about the Nuremberg trials, but everything leading up. The similarities to America right now are surreal, horrifying and important.
