Robert Duvall has died at age 95. I first took notice of him as Frank Burns in the film version of M*A*S*H (a very different, darker Frank Burns than the goofball Larry Linville played on television). So many iconic performances since then, including his Oscar win for Tender Mercies.

Train Dreams wins again, this time for Best Feature. That makes me happy. Such a lovely film. It probably won't win any of its four Oscar nominations, but if I had the power to choose the Oscars it would win for cinematography.
