It takes a broad interpretation of 'political' (which I would obviously like), but are you writing about the U3A? Always thought that would be a great bit of work. At various points, it positions itself as a movement and has those roots with activist voices.

If I were redoing my book I think I'd develop the longer history of privacy campaigns and their connection to minority rights protection much more central.
