If I understand Tariffs correctly, we pay them on goods shipped in by other countries. That is basically for two reasons:
1. To generate income for the importing country.
2. To discourage people from buying imported goods so they buy in their own country.
So what is Trump doing with this money?

I tried watching CNN once again today, but almost immediately they had that Fox News shill, Scott Jennings, on there again. I can’t watch that network as long as he is on there. Someone let me know when he gets fired and then I’ll try it again.
