October 26th is my 2nd Twitch Affiliate Anniversary! I think I will do a long stream and we can play some spooky games (that are not very spooky). I'm thinking the Rocky Horror Show (seems like this is a 60-90m game) and Hauntii, which was recommended to me last year. More details to come...

In Taiwan, the most basic boba tea is with assam tea! We have moved away from just plain boba so tea shops, so menus are like 100 items long. I honestly usually go for an oolong or fruit tea with whatever special tapioca they have. The big tapioca balls haven’t been that popular for a while now.

Assembly: add tea, simple syrup, cream/milk, and ice cubes. Shake in martini shaker until it’s well mixed.

Put boba on bottom of cup. Pour everything else over it.

Drink with big straw.

The milk is a powdered creamer that I would first dissolve in water for a bit, which makes the next step easier. If you’re fancy, you can just half and half.

Cooking:

You get tapioca balls and boil them with water and brown sugar until they are done.

If a tea shop doesn’t have boba tea, it’s bc the tapioca takes time to cook. They are finished when they are finished, otherwise they are over or under.

Make black tea.

Saw someone posting about going to a class to learn how to make boba tea. I worked at a bakery with $1 specials on boba tea in LA for summer… I made hundreds.

My salad blate is still quite wet because it’s so large. There is 12% shrinkage for this clay, so that’s 9.25 inches finished.

I put them beside BD. I’m BD’s pottery secret admirer. They have the most beautiful and clean shapes. I can pick their work out 100% of the time if it’s on a shelf with 50 other pieces…

It was mug day. Whatever you guys pay for mugs a potter has handmade is not enough. Like throw more money at them.

I’m still determined to learn how to pull handles on the body. It’s getting better. I know people just leave the thin bottom, but I am still too scared. I end up reinforcing it.

Since the last shed, it has become clear that Moss is female. The females are always larger and hungrier. Recently, Moss grew exponentially and just waits at the food bowl… well, also has no balls…

(This is the Taro’s chip plant. We put this small one in a terrarium away from Taro 😑)

We have a salt pig but I love the idea of a salt cat and it’s SO cute. I’ve seen people throw a closed round shape with open bottom and then dent at an angle during trimming. Is that how you got your shape???

Anyway, what it comes down to—I see MPDG and pick-me tropes as two sides of the same coin from different gendered perspectives. Without going into further detail, being neurodivergent and misunderstood within these contexts has been traumatic for me, particularly in different gaming communities.

There are a lot of neurodivergent people in the gaming community, which I am so grateful for. I am also incredibly grateful for all of the girl's girls that I've met who make me believe that not everyone is out to get me (Corn immediately pops to my mind. Let it be known that I adore Corn).
