I posted this right before stream, but it is impossible to take photos by my stove that aren’t terrible. I pointed the light towards the Dutch oven and snapped this haphazardly. It did great.

When you need a pick me up, you can search pottery and handles here, and find that you are in good company!

I’m learning how to pull handles on the mug body. It’s going okay. Every batch feels better 😭

Deal! And we will tell our people when we are live. We can have goals. We can ask the universe for things 😌

My best ever random matchmake was this guy who went to Phrike with me immediately. Boss room option spawned as the first room, literally, and we were like ‘ehhhh, nothing to lose.’ Beat phrike no hit with spawn-in weapon. We ended in biome 5 a few hours later. Fucking glorious.

I’m weird and awkward about posting any goals personally but I don’t mind when other people have goals! Totally want to support them!

I should have learned a long time ago, but I think this piece was when it all came together in my head. Seeing the glaze contract so much that the rims of some cups with the same combo flared out was a huge tip off!

Like so awkward for me… I like seeing all of your all’s recaps 🥹🥹🥹

The flare on the rims of these cups were not there before glazing and I had another small piece that came out completely warped. The sinkage rate of the glaze combo I used was not compatible with the clay. I think the other piece essentially cracked from too much surface tension.

I like the look of unglazed clay, and I also like to layer the glaze thickly. It’s definitely an error on my end between how I’m applying glaze and how much of it I’m applying. It’s been a long time since I threw with this clay, so I will eventually figure it out…
