I made a protection spell jar last night. I'm clumsy, messy, and my craft isn't beautiful like the images I see on social media, but it's mine. It is done with love and my whole heart, it enriches my life, and it's fun.

The messy aftermath of the creation of my protection spell jar. I had herbs and salt and my tools scattered everywhere. I made a mess but enjoyed making this little jar, and I'm really proud of it.

Completed spell jar containing salt, garlic, sage, cinnamon, Juniper berries, thorns, tiny nails, protection oil, parchment paper with a protection rune drawn on one side and synonyms for the word protection written on the other side, and another piece of paper with things and people I'm protected from written on it. The lid is sealed with black yarn instead of wax because I make a huge mess with wax.

I went for a walk yesterday, and I saw these little dudes. They were so cute. I'm glad I decided to leave my earbuds at home. If I'd had them, I wouldn't have heard these birds, and I would have missed the moment. My witch's soul was happy.
