At one point in my obsessively reading OSR blogs, junking through home-printed zines, and debating random encounter tables at unreasonable hours, I noticed something strange. The OSR aesthetic was categorically more than a surface visual preference for somebody. It was a declaration of values. All of a sudden scratchy black-and-white illustrations, crazily layered pages, handmade maps, zine-style-ness, and general rejection of clean or corporate aesthetics felt meaningfully loaded.

I got to play this and it fucking rules. The ambiance, the music, the ingots that may be shat (I shat none sadly) and the dread are all so potent. Loved the gameplay and weight it carried. Can’t wait for full release. This could be the present for today Dale Cooper was talking about.

In that regards Mork Borg is a very conductive game into making it into an art project. While it's true you don't need anything more than a whiteboard... just look at the rulebook, it's not about being efficient, or structured. It's about being exciting. And that's the core element of it. Excitement
