On the County Board last week, I supported a resolution urging Congress to restore collective bargaining rights for federal employees. In Congress, I’ll keep up that fight. Our federal workers deserve the right to unionize, and I’ll always stand with them.

If you’ve ever been screwed over by a landlord, you understand how unfair it can be. I was the lead sponsor on a bill that passed the Cook County Board, expanding the rights of renters against illegal lockouts and insane move-in fees.
