on a writing level, it has been 4 issues and about 50% of the panels have been fight scenes which are basically incomprehensible, with very little in the way of actual events happening. the plot barely advances.

there's only 19 issues of Extreme Justice and I'm dreading the next 15

Firestorm is now done. Next stop on my read is Extreme Justice, as I have determined that the potential detour to Wonder Woman: War of the Gods would not be meaningfully relevant.

okay i forgive firestorm for a lot of the annoyance i've had over the elemental arc, issue 96 was a gorgeous and shockingly well researched toe dip into Yoruba mythology and I loved it

The further I get into the tail end of Firestorm, the more convinced I am that the full elemental was a mistake, and it sucks that Ronnie and Mikhail are just...kinda gone.

i do not think i've had a more surreal experience in a while than having a coworker show off a photo of his fursuit in a meeting as his halloween costume

and knowing that he doesn't at all understand why this would be surreal for anyone else
