The country remains spatially segregated but not in a geography where two states was ever an option. South Africa continues to have one of the highest rates of violence in the world. Reconciliation and integration will🤞 eventually happen, but do you think forced integration would have helped?

Apartheid was indefensible. Protest, activism and leadership with vision beyond hate and division ended it. The moral high ground does ultimately matter, and you can’t win that ground by starving kids, or raping, pillaging or murdering.

So a majority Palestinian state. A theocracy? A democracy? A secular state? How are you going to maintain minority rights. There is no middle eastern state where minority rights are adequately protected, so how do you propose to do it?

America has some concerning signs it is creeping toward that direction. But neither meet that definition currently. Unlike several other states across the planet including in the Middle East.
