There are other elements that support extremism, but RW violence is the salient threat. They are holding the levers of power. Extremists have consumed their party. Moderates are dormant, effectively extinct in the GOP--cowed into silence with a few exceptions. So, the RW should be the real concern.

Bernice King has it absolutely right. We are facing a moral crisis in this country. And we must all act together to end it.

This administration of saboteurs, arsons, and vandals must be resisted robustly, but with tactical restraint and carefulness. They want to create a pretext for assumption of extraordinary powers.

It's only a matter of time before these hunters become the hunted. That is neither a threat nor a recommendation--just a prediction based upon decades of historical study.

Hey, Trump fluffers! Delaying the inevitable release will only increase the weight of the hammer when it comes down.

I see Trump sycophants desperately trying to rationalize and gaslight the obvious resistance and slow-walking of the release of the files in violation of federal law. I see Trump fluffers in Congress throwing red herrings to take the heat off Dear Leader. Keep your eye on the ball, America.

The reflexive dimwits crying that Democrats are also in the Epstein files seem to miss the excruciatingly obvious point, as they are inclined to do. No one cares if full disclosure nets some Democrats, Republicans, socialists, libertarians, vegetarians, pescatarians... Let the sunshine in. ☀️

Braun is such a groveling supplicant. He is no leader and even less of a man. 🤮 One hopes the legislature will hold the line on his matter.
Braun says lawmakers "must show up for work" to redraw legislative maps after call with Trump
The Governor posted on social media shortly after a call with President Donald Trump, who over the weekend voiced his disappointment with Indiana senators for not taking up his call to redraw congress...

Facing an outright revolt among Republicans in the House, despite his efforts to "persuade" some to vote "no" on the release of the Epstein files, Trump suddenly shifts course, declaring that he wants them released... Well, all of those that can be released "legally." 🤔Hmm.

This reminds me of his pitch for Trump’s miracle cure “signature” vitamin supplements in 2009, which were available for a bargain price if you signed up for a membership with the Trump Network and submitted a urine test because they customized them to your needs. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

So inflation and cost of living has been going up every month since this administration took over…this administration that promised it would all come down on day 1?

Now it’s because of the previous administration?

The one that had nothing to do with tariffing the entire planet?

Makes sense.

The Senate Republicans' resistance to axing the filibuster is more than mere institutionalist preservation. If the filibuster ends, they have no cover. They are pressured to vote for idiotic and dangerous bills without the cover of a Democratic filibuster preventing them from passing.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 94th day out of the last 106.

12 days of work in 106 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

They never say this “liquid” bullshit when it comes to tax cuts for the rich or wars or giving money to their friends (in Argentina) etc
