I have great memories of TRON because the first time I watched it was when my Grade 10 high school Math teacher showed it to our class because the graphics involved math. Not only was it a break from schoolwork, I also liked it a lot. Good times. End of line.

I just watched the John Candy doc, I Like Me, on Prime. My favourite moment is when Mel Brooks was being interviewed. Carl Reiner told him he should work with John if he got the chance. Mel told him he was looking for a mog. Carl asked, "what's a mog?" It immediately cuts to this Spaceballs clip:

I'm a son of a former soybean farmer. U.S. soybean farmers are reaping what they sowed. They voted for a businessman because they wanted the USA to be ran like a business and that's exactly how he's running it, like one of his many bankrupted businesses. They chose to ignore his track record.

Great movies do not get ruined by bad sequels. Those great movies still exist independently of what is produced afterwards. JAWS did not suddenly get ruined because of JAWS 4. It just means that JAWS 4 is a bad movie.
