Once it was reasonable to have hopes & dreams. Go to college, buy a car, operate a surprisingly well-trafficked saloon in the outerlands of Nepal, waiting for your father's assistant to walk through the door and heal years of emotional trauma & unspoken desire. The usual stuff. Not anymore though.
