Hi. I have not posted much here so far. This is normal service for me.

I dislike lockdown drills. Even though our ones are no doubt quaint when compared to those experienced by my American colleagues. Still, stirs up murky feelings from previous, real lockdown incidents I have been a part of.

But that's why we get the big bucks, I guess....

Social media manipulated algorithms not just to addict us to their platforms & get more money out of us, but to also indoctrinate an entire younger generation into a far right ideology.

They did so because a far right population is more likely to submit to a tech oligarchy rule.

And we let them.

I owe an apology to all James Bond movies. I mocked them for having completely unrealistic, cartoonish villains that simply weren't believable.

2025 has made it impossible to levy that criticism anymore.

So far this year I have only missed one week of Jiu Jitsu, which was due to travel.

This may be a small thing for most, but as a full time teacher, parent to a youngun with additional needs, and recovering from chronic fatigue, its good.

I still suck though. Happily.
