Anyone know of a short video about iconography in graphic novels (or comic books) that I can show in class?

Google isn’t being helpful

Thanks.

What goes on inside my mind, Part e^pi:

Walk into the bakery and ask for 1 panini

Start thinking: 1 panini, 1 panini, 1 panini, 1 panini, …

Walk out humming Happy Trails to You…

Flatlands is pretty flat.
The terminal moraine passes through Flatbush so it’s a little hilly. I guess the bushes were flat though

Once I went east and started walking back west it started filling up

Okay, I'll be back.
I can log out of Google Meet, but I need to get something to eat and take out the trash. (I hope it isn't still raining.)

A1 Doing okay, but trying to keep one step ahead at my school is not an easy thing to do, especially with the courses they gave me to teach this term.

Hello, #WeeknightWriters
Chris from NYC and No WIP at the moment as my last book launched last week and I'm looking over story notes. Contemplating what to do next

And I'm technically in remote Parent Teacher Conferences right now...

Hello #WeeknightWriters! Come on in, introduce yourself and your WIP, and let us know how your writing week is going! Or not going, that's valid too

I saw AO3 Maintenance trending and it reminded me that I got an email saying I got Kudos for a story I posted a few years ago.

Random stuff like that gives me a boost for the day!

Not exactly a pet, more like a rescue animal who left us the same day. We named him Edgar

If I had a large cast and they weren’t all traveling together I’d work out something to remind where they were and what their timeline was

As it is, when rewriting a scene in a story with two characters, I had to block it out like a stage play so they weren’t sitting 2x or zipping across the room

If anyone in Brooklyn or Lower Manhattan (up to, say, midtown) has graphic novels they are looking to get rid of, my class could use them

Thank you

(Below is my current class library, mostly donations)
A dozen graphic novels that make up my classroom collection: 1 manga, 2 Maus (I and II), 3 Sandman (random numbers) and some teen stuff

A3 I don't know if I'll be around at the end of the chat, so let me say now that my newest ebook (from Monday) is free on Amazon for a couple more hours

A3 I'd say "walk through the Feast of San Gennaro" in Little Italy ... but I did that yesterday. (It ends this weekend, I believe)
I'll figure something else. Probably should have writing
Or less schoolwork.

A2 I was featured on CBS 2 NY News Friday evening (and Sat morning), not for my writing, but for my walking. They teased me (coming up) throughout the broadcast!

A1 Okay except I’ve been given two courses to teach without curricula, one of which I’ll likely be observed in, and the other they’ll want to observe but can’t because it’s out of my license area
