Skill Ring failure #3:

To level the rings, you need other rings to use as fodder which means the grind gets that much more tedious.

In base, you leveled rings up by just wearing them, gaining experience, then enhancing them with relatively common materials.

Worse in every way.

Skill Ring failure #2:

Skill rings in base could be crafted using materials that were somewhat easily farmable, but now they're random drops with, like every piece of valuable equipment, a stupidly low drop chance.

So they're not only unnecessary and uninspired, they're also tedious.

So...Skill Rings are just Fixa/EX Augments attached to an arbitrary equipment slot.

Not anything that alters or adjusts how a skill or ability works. They're just another stat boost.

Still pilfering base PSO2's corpse and not taking anything of real value from it.

Having put on Sonic Boom in the background, I'm noticing the writing for the show is extremely similar to that of Teen Titans Go!

I know the latter is more popular and marketed more than the former, but I'm still gonna ask why Boom gets a pass and TTG doesn't.

The manga, if you can find it, has a bit more material, but the film is a really good watch.

Some scenes are pretty emotionally taxing, so be ready for that.
