finished Silksong

i knew it was gonna be good but damn

tho it didnt quite replicate the feeling i had with hollow knight of just endless discovery

i did feel like it should end when it did whereas with hk i was euphoric that it just kept going, there was always a new area to discover

great games

i'd like to start looking into selling prints but have no idea what sites are both trustworthy and reputable and also good for international shipping from Europe

any recommendations and tips?

the one thing that throws me off of Bananza is how much there is of it and how repetitive it feels

I was at a point now that felt like it was gonna start the games finale, the stakes felt high

only for it to blow over and introduce yet again another gigantic layer to explore

pacing was super off

hypnosis

throughout my life i feel i have slowly unlearned the ability to be curious and expressive to the point that i am ashamed to show any of it or do things just for the fun of it

maybe a little bit more of that childlike wonder™ wouldnt be so bad right now

dk bananza makes me feel old cause of all the overstimulation you get from it but also young cause of the genuine excitement i get from it as a game

i know theyre good at this but it feels like an absolute toptier oldschool nintendo game like i can see someone having core childhood memories from it

i played it for the first time a couple months ago, its one of my favourites now for sure

me watching a trailer for a game that they described as jaw dropping in the article:

wow it sure is neat how well they can prerender stuff nowadays

took me a while but I finished Another Crab's Treasure

wasnt impressed at first and i didn't gel with the parry system but the longer it went on the more i warmed up to it, now id say its one of the better souls likes

surprisingly profound too while also quite funny

ive been thinking of those two and which one i like better for a while now

i love the "craftsmanship" of sr but am2r feels like a much more meaningful expansion of metroid 2

i'm doing an experiment

i'm playing both am2r and samus returns at the same time, area by area, to see how i feel about them

i played sr waaaay before am2r so i never felt like i could compare them adequately

so far theyre on pretty equal grounds

saw someone on the train play pikmin on their phone just now and I was pretty delighted about it
something about pikmin just gives me this nice familiar homely feeling even tho ive never played the original 2

maybe its time i need a new retro thing to play now anyway
