The 'Algebraic expressions' & 'Number & Calculation' sets didn't have any exercises that had more than one question so I added 5 more slides to each.

That is 10 new question sets with questions like these:

Came across something today - not sure if it is interesting or not? Fellow #maths teachers might have a view.

Take each of the fractions 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, 5/6, 6/7, 7/8, 8/9, 9/10, and 10/11 (the first 10 fractions of the form x/(x+1)).

Add 1/6 to each of them. You might notice something.

Today was a great day - my graduation from my Masters in Educational Leadership from Coventry University courtesy of The National Institute of Teaching and Education.

Lovely to catch up with people from the course and celebrate our achievements.

Finally home after two long but productive days supporting the development of maths in the @stoccat.bsky.social secondary schools. Viewed some lessons, planned and delivered some INSET, and even managed to do a bit of teaching!

Looking forward to being back there in January.

Are you even a tourist in Sri Lanka if you don’t take the train ride across the mountains to Ella? Simply breathtaking.

It took 7 hours and 20 minutes to travel from Nanu Oya to Colombo at an average speed of 28 kmph. How long is the railway?
