🏆GOING FOR GOLD🏆

At long last @beancross.bsky.social have officially been awarded their GOLD Sports Scotland Award for their effort & commitment to developing sport within the school.

We are now only the 7th school in Falkirk, including secondaries, to be award this level of School Sport Award.

“I wonder what the white lines in the sky are after a plane has flown past”🤔💭 After spotting a plane in the sky during playtime, we became curious about the lines it left behind. We were amazed to find out they’re called contrails — and we wanted to create our own! ✈️☁️

We had a special visitor come and talk to us about their job on Tuesday! It was Miss Meikle’s dad ☺️ He spoke about his role as a Maritime Enforcement Officer and Marine Engineer ⛴️ We asked lots of super questions too ⚓️

P7 Election 🗳️ As part of our London topic we created our own political parties, wrote manifestos, filmed party political broadcasts and did some campaigning at our assembly 📣 We finished the topic with a whole-school election! We’re excited to hear the results 🥳 Thank you to everyone who voted ☺️

Group 4 enjoyed their abseiling session before lunch 🥗

🥹 So proud of everyone for deciding to give it a go - for some, that meant climbing to the top and deciding not to abseil but that in itself is a huge achievement 👏🏻
