We recently learned about children’s rights and what international aid means. We discussed how organisations work together to help support communities. We drew pictures showing things we could give or do to help people in less economically developed countries 🩹🍞💦

We created our Class Charter by exploring the UNCRC. P3K chose the rights that mattered most to them and agreed on how we can respect these in our classroom. Each hot air balloon was decorated and signed by pupils to show our promise to respect these rights every day 🌍

P7P have chosen an underwater theme for their class charter 🐠. We discussed the rights that are most important to us as a class and explored how teachers, as duty bearers, and pupils, as rights holders, can work together to uphold these rights.

P5E Class Charter - This week P5E discussed how our rights can be respected in both our class and across our school. We looked at a number of the UNCRC articles and how they relate to us. We then created our own class charter after voting on themes of our choice.
