I love when pupils show determination and resilience! These pupils did not give up when things became a little challenging.

The children took the lead in this 🥰 They wanted to find out where rain and snow come from. We carried out an experiment where shaving foam represented a cloud, and we dropped blue dye into it to show what happens when clouds become full.

“The clouds are heavy, so the rain falls out!” 🌧️

Dictated Sentences

One child took on the role of writer while the other acted as the reader. This is a great activity your child can practise at home for extra reinforcement ⭐️

Top Secret 🤫

Children were given envelopes with addition or subtraction sentences. They chose a tool or strategy to solve their questions. Afterwards, they teamed up with another pair to discuss their findings. What did they notice about everyone’s questions…? They were linked!

These pupils created a fantastic creation. They sketched their plans in the Construction Book for others to replicate. They communicated extremely well and adapted their model where necessary. I enjoyed observing the discussion between these two pupils. ⭐️

This was such a lovely interaction. P was observed ordering his number stones, and R noticed that the task became more challenging as the numbers went beyond 10. She naturally took on a teaching role, offering choices without giving the answer, and instead guiding P by suggesting strategies.
