OK, first thing’s first, I am not a huge fan of AI. At the same time, I find it insanely useful; not in the way students sometimes use it to dodge learning, but in the way it can handle tasks that sit well outside my skill set or that do not require deep conceptual understanding. For example, I need to know how to write, and I need to keep that muscle strong.

First in a series inspired by our SLT book club Our fearless leader has introduced a Leadership Book Club as part of our executive team’s professional development. I'm very excited. First on the roster is Embracing MESSY Leadership by Alyssa Gallagher and Rosie Connor. A few chapters in, the book is proving engaging - thankfully avoiding the trap of feeling like an overextended blog post.
