I think - even ignoring the last month or so - the thing that’s so weird about the hype video is how focused it is on only the Brind’Amour era. Like, this team won a Cup and had Hall of Famers play for it and the only inference to the past is “our coach raised the Cup” for like a half second

Now that it’s actually a Hurricanes game day, I regret to have learned that they’re going to try to make “Carolina Culture” happen.

This may be the worst one since a team that finished at the bottom of the league used “This is hockey.”
