I still can't get over that the retroactive removed "Part One" from the title of "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One" so that they could name the next movie "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning." I can't get over it.

if God is telling a big grand story over many millennia, it's pretty fucked up that each person only gets exposed to a fraction of it. Like being told you get to see Hamlet, but you're only allowed to hear three words. And from that you have to figure out what it "all" means.

I love that Sonic and Knuckles are their real names, but Tails is just a nickname for a fox with the otherwise normal name Miles

In the 70s unpublished book manuscripts were just laying around film studios and producers would be like “This is kinda cool” and a movie would be in theaters 8 months later and be a massive success and the book would come out like 2 weeks before the movie and make zero dent on culture
