RFK Jr: We need to stop trusting the experts... Trusting the experts is not a feature of science or democracy, it's a feature of religion and totalitarianism.

"The enormous variability among autistic people is perhaps the biggest challenge for scientists looking for causes. It is probably the result of combinations of genetic and environmental factors interacting in convoluted ways." 🧪

Not an uncommon problem with many diseases.
Autism is on the rise: what’s really behind the increase?
RFK Jr has vowed to find out what’s responsible, but scientists say he is ignoring answers from decades of research.

🧪 A clear, thorough debunking of the pseudo-science behind the vaccines-cause-autism movement. The discredited father/son team and their « home laboratory » are a driving force behind RFK JR’s assault on vaccines. The son is now a senior data analyst at HHS. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Federal funding for US science research has been disrupted dramatically in 2025. Other countries are enticing US students and scientists to move abroad, leaving the overall impact on chemistry and science uncertain. cen.acs.org/careers/US-s... #chemsky 🧪

New strategies as diverse as venture capitalism and investments from abroad are emerging to sustain the field
