Bloody goths coming over the Seven bridge and legitimately owning Dracula stamps!

Feeling at least 38% more spoopy than anticipated. Pls enjoy these movie monster stamps. Unfortunately I don't have the Bela Lugosi Dracula one - many goth tears will surely flow.
Good riddance to bad trash.
Enjoying the tiles of Porto

Portuguese stamps from the 50s as we're in Porto for Dr Claire's 50th
A nice flower and another CEPT one.

Sweden, 1983.
Commemorating Swedish winners of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry. (Couldn't find any peace prize ones in my collection in the time I had)
Maybe you'd have more luck in another category Donnie? I guess you have just as much chance of winning the Chemistry one
Turnip is being a bit clingy as the weather has turned. That said she was AWOL until 22:30 yesterday which freaked us out and had me doing circuits of the neighbourhood with a bag of cat treats. Nothing makes you realise how daft your cat's name is like having to shout it whilst out alone after dark

I found myself wondering what Georgie C would make of the recent address to the Generals?

UK, 1996. Whooper swan
Or is it whopper, Nigel*?
For the non Brits, our pound-shop Oswald Mosely who pushes the lie that Romanian immigrants are eating our swans - failing to note that swans are mostly migratory.
I don't recall seeing an Uzbek stamp on my collection. I'm rather lacking in stamps from that entire region
beautiful stuff and lovely humans - particularly enjoying @glenndevar.bsky.social currently (on Facebook as I only just realised he was here too)
Probably Neil Diamond.

I don't actually have this stamp so I've included 2 stamps of the subjects separately.
#antifa are terrorists eh? is this stamp illegal now? 🤔😉
Yeah that's the joy of stamps for me. They're a tangible item to tag bits of historic and geographic knowledge to. I find it sticks better in my slippery brain if there's a stamp

Austria, 1920.
I do love an over-print.
This one was for the Carinthia referendum held to decide if the area should join the fledgling Yugoslavia or remain as part of Austria. Despite 70% of the population speaking Slovene 59% voted to stay in Austria. Still Austria now.
I've also seen a couple of awful AI images depicting her painting the St George's cross on mini roundabouts as if somehow she didn't dedicate the latter part of her life to causes in Africa and wasn't dating an Arabic chap so was probably, you know, not down with xenophobia.

Bit late with stamp of the week but became inspired today noticing several posts mentioning the queen of hearts on the 28th anniversary of her death on the 31st. I'd assumed it was a rounder number given the number of posts but hey.
Ugh. This is some bullshit

I've spent the last week and a bit knee deep in Dwarf Fortress. It is one of the most ridiculous games of all time. I love the gem mining and the random crap the game throws at you. I recently had a wereskink infestation. 'fun' ensued obvs.
