The scariest movie to watch for Halloween that I can think of is The Day After (1983). Anyone who lived through the 1970s and 1980s was traumatized by that movie. It's the scariest horror film ever because it's potentially real. 💀👻

Another major milestone in my new novel! 🥳
I finished the 3rd and (probably) final editing run-through. I've also completed the layout in InDesign for the print versions, and now, I only have to design the cover and complete the Kindle layout. The Kindle can be done within a couple of days.

I made a nice Greek salad with heirloom tomatoes, feta cheese, kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, and a good spring mix. Instead of using olive oil and vinegar, my mom immediately put mayonnaise on it. 🤢 And it's at times like these that I assume there must have been a switch up at the hospital!

I haven't been very active on here lately because I try to make this platform about my writing, and I haven't done much writing since my father passed last month. There's too much else to do and I haven't been able to focus. I think it's going to have to be an early 2026 release.

My sunflowers blossomed this week. I grew two varieties this year—Heirloom and Mammoth. The tallest Mammoth is almost 12 feet tall. The one that blossomed already is about 10 feet tall.
