the scientist and dave are really fun characters for me to write, and i can take my own experiences with my inner demons and extrapolate that to the absolute extremes you see with both of them. also tbh i just like writing horribly angsty things and the scientist is a fun excuse to do so

I like messing with fonts and font sizes, fun fact the scientist actually had some instances in the google doc where the font size was reduced, for instance " Nothing can hurt now or ever." wasn't originally crossed out, it just had a font size of like. 4. unfortunately got lost in the ao3 upload

okay enough being negative before i go to bed more writing things i love doing. i love being inconsistent with the perspective. like. writing it like its from an external third person point of view and then injecting a character's thoughts into the narration despite it being in the third person

i struggle with long form writing. which is funny because that's my work people love the most. it's why 3.0b's writing was short segments. everything i try to write long ends up only reaching 1000-2000 words and it sucks to me but no one seems to really notice so i'm clearly doing something right

even when i was describing my ideas for the scientist chapter 2 and 3 i thought it was all overly edgy, and because of that i'll probably never write those chapters. i don't think i can do the scientist justice
