After canceling my accounts at almost every other major news outlet I'm glad that the Guardian remains independent, still producing news worth reading.
Just look at what they allowed to happen to the white house.
Thank you @camarowrx.bsky.social for questions tonight! Im shopping for a uv mushroom light tomorrow! #parkchat
A11 Getting outside, even if it's gloomy & raining & dark at 4 pm helps. We head up to the Skagit River Delta about an hr north of Seattle where at least it's wide open. Bird viewing is better there in the winter also. #parkchat
A10 Starting in the fall we do a lot of cloud gazing here - there are some clear nights but we really have to watch for them #parkchat
Very much-Excellent Qs tonight! #parkchat
A8 I know very little about fungi, Im guessing these might be oyster mushrooms. Also a recent find #parkchat

A6 We saw these bunchberries in the Cascades just last week. #parkchat
A4 No big road trips specifically for colors but lots of time in the NC Mts - Blue Ridge Parkway when I was a teenager in the fall just because. I guess now it's so busy that mid summer is easier to visit there #parkchat
SE & same, several autumns inthe Blue Ridge Mts, but no photos! 😥 #parkchat
"Coldest summer I every spent was summer in San Francisco" attributed to Mark Twain. Can verify that is true #parkchat
A3 Most of our native trees seem to turn yellow, then brown quickly (or just straight to brown) - always like the reds & oranges #parkchat
Awesome! Still trying to visit Victoria? Spent some time in Stanley Park? So much to see there! #parkchat
A2 Big relief from late summer here (& most of the west), it was so dry & fires & smoke all over. A great time to visit streams in the PNW and see which ones have salmon running #parkchst
A1 Just local parks right now, but it's a great time of yr with the heat & crowds gone, the PNW rains & wind not quite kicking in #parkchat
Hi, checking in from western WA State, ready for some fall stories #parkchat
